I’ve visited 3 of Alaska’s 8 national parks so far. Katmai, Kobuk Valley, and Arctic Circle are among the hardest to get to and at the top of my list! I dream of bears catching salmon and exploring the wildest areas of our country and world!
What has been your favorite adventure experience?My favorite international experience was hiking the Salkantay Trek through Peru with an organization called Women Who Explore. 5 days hiking to Machu Picchu was the adventure of my lifetime so far! My favorite National Park experience was - hands down - hiking the Maple Loop Trail in North Cascades NP in Washington. The views, friends, and people we met hiking the PCT were remarkable. Don’t miss it!!
What would you do with $10,000?I would charter a plane (the only way to travel unfortunately) to these 3 most remote national parks and bring my family with me. This would be a trip I know we’d remember forever.
