I dream of visiting the National Park of American Samoa. I grew up near the beach in Florida so I really enjoy visiting tropical places. I also like to learn about other cultures. I would love to learn about the land, wildlife, agriculture, people, and way of life in the South Pacific.
What has been your favorite adventure experience?My favorite adventure so far has been summiting Mt. Whitney. It was a beautiful but challenging hike. It gave me such a sense of accomplishment to have completed it. I enjoyed seeing the change in the land from the Mojave Desert nearby, to alpine lakes with tall trees, and then to bare rock faces.
What would you do with $10,000?I would put the $10,000 towards our travel expenses for reaching our goal. We have been to 27 national parks so far leaving us with 36 to still visit. In the National Park Adventure Guide that has 10 things to do in every national park we have completed 163 of 630 things so far. Most parks require two visits each for us to complete the 10 things in the park as some things are large undertakings, so $10,000 would really help us with the travel costs of completing this goal.
