What national park do you dream of visiting?

Actually, Utah’s 5 are on my short list, with Arches at the top of my list! I cannot wait to see the vistas and hike, and I want to see the stars, so stargazing is part of the plan to realize the dream!

What has been your favorite adventure experience?

My favorite so far would be visiting and hiking in Badlands. Badlands is one of my favorite National Parks with the ever changing colors and perspectives as you hike the different trails. While sunsets are always special, a sunset in Badlands is a memory worth making. The activity and pace of the day hiking and doing is juxtaposed by pausing to watch as the colors of the sky mingle with the rock colors and you only need to be present to enjoy!

What would you do with $10,000?

Map my National Park route, figure out lodging, pack my bags and begin my drive west to Arches as my first destination, followed by the other 4 NPS in Utah. Next, on to the “big trees” NPS in California and Joshua Tree.
