I have never had the chance to visit any national parks yet! My dream, with my mother, is to visit the Great Smoky mountains! Or Yellowstone or Yosemite or Glacier! We have yet to take a trip together and just take in the scenic views to some place breathtaking. We will make it to one someday! One of my biggest solo dreams is to visit the Hawaii Volcanoes national park! To see such beautiful creations of earth that close is definitely on my bucket list and I don’t think anything could top that.

My favorite adventure experience so far was visiting the boundary waters in Ely, Minnesota. Canoeing before sunrise every morning to get to dollar island, go cliff jumping into the cold Canadian waters. Watching the northern lights from our family’s cabins while we sit by the bonfire we just put together, seeing a night full of stars so clearly for the first time. Summer nights in Ely has been the highlight in the states. Not a want, but a NEED to go back very very soon!

If I was given $10k, the first thing I would do is take my mother to Italy. She had immigrated to the U.S. from the DR when she was only 18. Raising 3 daughters, going to school, working full time, and getting her citizenship over the last 30 years, she has given me everything and more to let me live the life that I do. The least I could do for her is get her the trip she has been talking about before I could even remember. The rest I'd use for tuition to finish my degree in forensic science!
