I've already been to Oahu and Kauai, and both islands left a lasting impression on me. Oahu's bustling energy and stunning beaches, combined with Kauai's lush, green landscapes and dramatic cliffs, were incredible experiences. However, visiting a national park in Hawaii, especially one as dynamic and awe-inspiring as Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, would be a dream come true. The chance to see lava flows, steam vents, and the caldera of Kilauea up close would be an unforgettable adventure.
What has been your favorite adventure experience?Hands down, white water rafting in Iceland is my most memorable experience! I had white water rafted in the States before, but OMG, tackling Hvita was wild! I am plus size and had just had a baby, still healing from a C-section, but I faced it head-on. At first, caution was at play, but once I realized I was safe and just needed to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience, I could feel the adrenaline rush! I loved being thrown out into the water and feeling that surge of energy to survive.
What would you do with $10,000?As a mom and a second mom to my niece and nephew, one of my goals is to show them all the places I've been and more! I believe giving these experiences to my kids will overall make them better humans. With $10,000, I would definitely take my family on an amazing adventure. I've found so much love in national parks and the outdoors and, honestly, I've found myself! Sharing these experiences with my kids is a life goal of mine. Anyone who knows me knows I want the kids to have an adventure too!
