Yellowstone is one that I feel like has to be on the top of anyone’s list who hasn’t been yet! But also I feel called to The Gates of the Arctic to see the Northern Lights… Haleakalā for the cultural ties and education… Congaree, because I’m a nerd and it was an International Biosphere Reserve and a Globally Important Bird Area before a NP… The Petrified Forest for its transmutation from wood to quartz… and Big Bend… because I grew up in Texas poor and never got to explore much as a kid!
What has been your favorite adventure experience?I have so many small world moments in my travels and they bring me much joy. Aside from that, being given a spontaneous walking tour by an old man in Dublin, being lost in Mexico at 6 for a while but not knowing I was lost, and flying to Russia as my first ever flight, followed by my first ever metro (subway) and overnight train experiences, then staying with CouchSurfing hosts I had set up for a few days apiece, before meeting up with my volunteer group in Moscow and going to work with orphans!
