What national park do you dream of visiting?

The next national park on my bucket list is definitely Olympic National Park. I have dreamed of visiting this beautiful piece of our earth for quite some time. I want to experience the breathtaking prairies, wildlife, and mountains it has to offer. I want to witness the pastel painted skies and hear the marmots calling along the array of wildflowers. That would feel like such a fairytale and would be an incredible reminder of why I am pursuing a career of wildlife conservation.

What has been your favorite adventure experience?

My favorite adventure was when I travelled across the country to hike Mt Rainier National Park. I took a 6 mile hike up the sub alpines and was taken back when the trail opened up to the most beautiful display of wildflowers with the perfect view of a snowy glacier in the distance. It felt otherworldly and it made every step, every foot of elevation, and every minute worth it. Not to mention the clearest night sky I have ever seen. I feel incredibly lucky to have seen something so magical.

What would you do with $10,000?

$10,000 would honestly change my life. As a single mother in school, the prize money would relieve some stresses in my life and would go towards funding for my schooling, providing for my daughter, and honestly some of it would go right back into conservation to protect our wildlife and wild lands.
