You decide who will win $10,000, embark on an expedition in a Winnebago RV, and appear in Outside Magazine
I just visited Denali in Alaska and it was unreal, but I’d love to see more of it when the reconstruction is done. Since that’s not until 2027, I would say Katmai during the salmon run would be my top choice. Give me all the grizzlies, that’s the dream! I also really need to get back to Maui to do Haleakala because I wasn’t able to get to the top when I was there because it was closed..due to SNOW… in Hawaii! I’m also dying to hit The Smokies and Rocky Mountain this summer too ❤️
What has been your favorite adventure experience?I think the 5 day Salkantay trail in Peru was really special to me. I went solo but got lucky to join a group of 10 other awesome people on a guided tour where we hiked through the Amazon, the Andes, all the way to Machu Picchu and in all different weather conditions. It was wild. I Slept in yurts along the way every night under millions of stars. It was magical. 56 miles of pure heavenly bliss. A close second though would be my 10 day NP solo trip from TX to CO. West Texas is so underrated.
What would you do with $10,000?I’d use it towards a long road trip to knock off at least another 5-10 more national parks. I try to do at least 5 per year. Depending on what time of year, I’d probably use some of it towards a sweet shred sesh in Tahoe too or a 5 day trip to Iceland to catch the northern lights. There are so many places I want to explore so the possibilities are endless. I just want to hike, bike, climb, paddle and snowboard through all the most beautiful places in the world. Even better if it’s in a Winnie!!
