A major bucket list item of mine is to sleep under the stars in Glacier National Park; Kayak to Wild horse Island, heli at sunset and take a glacial lake dip in Lake McDonald.
What has been your favorite adventure experience?In 2022, I successfully summited Mt. Kilimanjaro with my travel buddies: my husband, brother, and cousins, all the while fighting a Crohn’s flare. Battling one of the world’s seven summits & my autoimmune disease simultaneously was quite the adventure. It made me appreciate every step I was able to take and respect every inch of the terrain. Most importantly, it showed me my capabilities. I met the best people & had the best support system by my side. I’ll forever be grateful for the experience.
What would you do with $10,000?In addition to donating a portion to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, I would absolutely embrace the urge to explore! I’m known for being the one to make everyone’s travel itineraries packed with outside the box activities (research & PowerPoint; the whole nine yards!), but in this instance I’d like to go beyond my comfort zone and let those closest to me plan a surprise adventure! I’ll show up to the airport, train station or rental car with an open mind and open passport! Ready for anything!
