You decide who will win $10,000, embark on an expedition in a Winnebago RV, and appear in Outside Magazine
If I had to pick one, it would be Sequoia National Park. Why? If standing next to the tallest beings on the planet wasn't enough then try breathing in the same air as the longest-living organisms on Earth! Ha, you never know, they may even share their secrets of longevity! The most famous of these trees is the General Sherman Tree, which from my research is estimated to be around 2,200 to 2,700 years old.
What has been your favorite adventure experience?TLC were wrong when they sang "don't go chasing waterfalls, please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to"! I feel CANYONEERING is the ultimate chase: Rapelling waterfalls, sliding down shoots, all while experiencing a deep connection while immeresed in ice-cold water, connecting with the rocks! Mountain canyons are one of the most secluded and adrenaline-filled playgrounds. A great way to fully live in the moment!
What would you do with $10,000?I’ll use the funds to create interactive videos that vividly document my adventures, showcasing the beauty, ecological treasures, and the original stories of the first peoples before parks were created. These videos will inspire sustainable exploration and preservation. A portion will also go to supporting initiatives which connect BIPOC youth to nature fostering a new generation of environmental stewards dedicated to protecting these spaces.
