North Cascades National Park in Washington State; the snowcapped peaks, turquoise lakes and lush forests call to my soul like an embrace from the universe. Joshua Tree is also on my list! My dream national park in AU is Daintree in Queensland; it is home to the largest bat on Earth: the flying fox. It is my life goal as a bat-lover and current bat cave hiking guide, to see this species in the wild!
What has been your favorite adventure experience?I traveled/tramped around New Zealand for 3 months in 2016 meeting locals, emersing in Maori culture, swimming with wild Dusky dolphins, eating rare cuisine, hiking the St. James Walkway, traversing Gillespie Pass, and completing the Punakaki Inland Pack Trail. I also won a sailboat race! New Zealand was nothing short of a beautiful miracle and I met the most incredible humans of my life. It changed who I am at my core. I feel more connected to every living thing; seeing light even in the dark.
What would you do with $10,000?I will purchase the land needed to run a retreat center focused on connecting people to nature with energy healing in the San Luis Valley of CO. The SLV is my spiritual home and offers limitless exploration and wild adventures into the depths of nature and yourself. Also a Yoga Instructor/Reiki Master- I would combine these skills with my Ranger background to lead custom curated healing retreats including: forest bathing, meditative hiking, energy sessions, yoga, stargazing, and much more!
