What has been your favorite adventure experience?My favorite adventure has been living in the Mongolian steppe with nomadic shepherds. I was there to conduct research for my undergraduate thesis, and now I am getting a doctorate because of how challenging and impactful those months were. Waking up every morning and hopping on horseback in subzero temperatures--there's nothing better. People often forget about countries like Mongolia, and I want to be someone who adventures well and who doesn't overlook what is classically overlooked.
What would you do with $10,000?There are so many things that feel life changing (in a good way, obviously). My main priority would be to pay off debt, and then surprise my husband for our first anniversary with a climbing trip back in Glacier National Park, where he proposed to me!
