Joshua Tree. I was in Palm Springs with my family on vacation and should have taken the time to visit Joshua Tree while I was in the vicinity. This would be an opportunity to get that one ticked off my bucket list. I also want to climb Denali before I am gone. When the time comes, my wish has always been to have my ashes sprinkled across all the mountains we have climbed.
What has been your favorite adventure experience?My favorite trip was our family of five travelling in a motorhome through Utah, Colorado and Arizona and visiting many parks. Another favorite is our annual trip of hiking and cycling in Acadia National Park. One of our most adventurous hikes was when our family attempted to climb Mt. Washington in February at -80 f. After a very short time in the frigid cold we retreated and came back 2 days later and climbed up to Tuckerman Ravine at -70f. At the time our kids were 5, 6 and 8.
What would you do with $10,000?Complete my entire bucket list and travel to a number of national parks that I have yet to see. Cycle the various routes in the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smokey National Park
