What national park do you dream of visiting?

I dream of visiting Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky to go cave exploring for the first time and listen to the world a little differently! Although these caves existed before us, they've contributed to modern history with their unique acoustics. I've heard stories of the musicians playing within the park's caves, unforgettable experiences provided by Artists-in-residence or local orchestras. Outside of the cave systems, I'd relish in kayaking along the Green and Nolin Rivers.

What has been your favorite adventure experience?

I will always remember visiting Acadia national park in fall of 2020. It was a respite with my father from the pandemic and craziness that engulfed the world. We filled our bellies on delicious lobster and hiked beautiful trails. This was also a nostalgic trip for my dad as he used to work on boats in Maine. I cherish the stories he shared and the subsequent tours while we were there. Not to mention, I don't go anywhere without my camera, so I'm still able to look back on these memories!

What would you do with $10,000?

Given the Winnebago RV, I estimate $1200 in round trip costs from my home to Mammoth Cave National Park based on lower mpg. A cushion of $1500 would cover any RV camping permits or hotel rooms for the nights still on the road. Allocating $1500 for feeding myself and any driving buddy, the remaining budget would be towards recreation and filmmaking. I would also love the chance to volunteer my energy and resources to the park. I'd reach out to the park's team and plan a mini project.
