You decide who will win $10,000, embark on an expedition in a Winnebago RV, and appear in Outside Magazine
Ideally, all 58 of them! We have had the privilege of visiting a number of them, but high on our list to visit is Acadia National Park. On our drive there, we plan to stop at Mammoth Cave and Cuyahoga National Parks. Then on the return south, we plan to stop at Shenandoah, Great Smoky Mts. and Congaree National Parks. And of course, enjoying every beautiful sight and recording our memories by taking photos all along the way!
What has been your favorite adventure experience? On of our most memorable trips started in Florida. We traveled by RV to Texas and then up through Montana into Canada. We drove the Alaska Highway across Canada into Alaska. Our journey included stops all along the way, sightings of amazing wildlife, and beautiful views. The best part of the trip was a 3-hour boat ride on the Salcha River to reach my brother's log cabin on an island where we spent 5 glorious days. Our return took us across Canada, the Dakotas and back to Florida.
What would you do with $10,000?I'm a retired educator, and my husband is a retired trucker. We live off Social Security and retirement funds. We are experienced budget travelers, having logged thousands of miles across the United States and Canada. One of the largest expenses is the gas! We boondock a lot but occasionally stay in a park. We also enjoy sampling the local cuisine which is costly. The $10,000 would be a huge blessing and would allow us to travel to parts of the U.S.A. we haven't seen, stay in parks, and EAT!
