I've been to many, although I think I would like to spend time exploring the Channel Islands, or Acadia, or a little more time in Zion.
What has been your favorite adventure experience?Oh gosh. This was huge! I was salmon fishing at Haida Gwaii and suddenly the salmon just stopped biting. Our guide told us to reel in, lay the rods down, be still and hold on. To our immediate left we were approached by a pod of about 7 Orcas who had been further out feeding. We were three mere humans in a 6 man boat. The Orcas were no more than 50' from us when they dove down, one at a time and swam beneath our boat, rocking us back and forth crazily, but causing no harm to us at all. Thrill!
What would you do with $10,000?I would celebrate with my family, stash a little, donate a little, do upgrades on my Rubicon, then gear up for another escape 🌿
