I’ve been visiting National Parks all my life- I love getting out in nature and to see what makes America tick. Our parks are our country!

I’d absolutely love to get to Alaska- from what I can see, the sheer scale of the wilderness there is beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. So with that in mind, Denali would probably make me very happy.
What has been your favorite adventure experience?I think I just had it! About two weeks ago, a friend and I car camped in Capitol Reef’s Cathedral Valley. We were the only people out there- I’ve never experienced wilderness like that before. Each step on the trail between the Temples of the Sun and Moon felt as if we were the first people there and the land had never been touched before. It felt holy.
What would you do with $10,000?Peruse my dream of seeing more National Parks! I’d like to see them all, but a good experience in one national park can outweigh rushed experiences in several. The parks are experiential- going is an exercise in understanding and learning.
