Wilderness is home. Appalachia has provided hundreds of miles for my feet to walk. Now I’m dreaming of the next grand adventure. West bound.

What has been your favorite adventure experience?There is a railroad causeway in Utah near antelope island. It splits two bodys of water. One is pink and one blue. Surrounded by the Wasatch and Sierra Nevada mountains we drove down this causeway for far too long in a Nissan Sentra. Darkness eventually fell around us and the Milky Way reflected off of the water for as far as we could see. We passed an abandoned ship wreck and had an encounter with a train and filmed it with a drone. It was absolutely epic.
What would you do with $10,000?$10,000 would open up the door to my biggest adventure dreams. I am a photographer and currently have a Sony a7iii. I would probably buy a 70-200mm lens and hit the road. It would allow me to focus on building my own brand as a photographer seeking home in the outdoors. I’d like to Hike the Appalachian trail. I’d love to see the Dolomites and visit the black sand beaches in Iceland. I’d save some for my niece so she can fall in love with traveling just as I did. It would change my life.
