Denali National Park! I visited Alaska back in 2017 and never would have thought of myself going backcountry and roaming around the beautiful tundra. After backpacking in Yellowstone and co-existing with grizzly bears, I understood what one needs to do to remain safe and in harmony with the ecosystem one visits and experiences.
What has been your favorite adventure experience?Hiking the 2,650 miles of Pacific Crest Trail in 2023, the record-breaking snowpack on the sierras did not detain our trail family to create memories for life. It was such an eye-opening and life-transforming journey that it captivated my inner senses and allowed me to experience nature on a deeper level.
What would you do with $10,000?Hike the Continental Divide Trail, craft spaces for the Latino community to join the outdoors, teach them about LNT principles and lead by example. I continue to pursue a career in outdoors leadership. Currently, I hold a WFR (Wilderness First Responder) and I need amigos your help to cover costs for Wildernes Emegerncy Medical Technician license (which costs about 5,000 dollars).
