As many as we can!! Everywhere we haven’t gone ? Yellowstone National Park seems like an amazing place to explore with wheelchair accessible trails and adaptive recreation. A lot of thought goes into integrating accessibility while still preserving this beautiful and unique place for future generations. Let’s go explore! ❣️
What has been your favorite adventure experience?Yosemite national Park was beautiful and lots of accessibility for my son’s off road wheelchair. We went in the spring and there was still some snow. Alaska Glacier National Park was also unique. What an amazing experience. Still my favorite so far was Redwood National Park. We had so much fun walking / rolling thru the redwoods together. Being among these incredible majestic trees really brings a new perspective on our place in the world.
What would you do with $10,000?Equipment and travel for Adaptive outdoor adventures. Adaptive rock climbing, biking, rafting, hiking as well as resting with awe inspiring views, starry skies, & sleepy meadows. We want to share that no matter your disability you have a place in the world, an adventure to share, a story to tell and to encourage others to go out. We can all experience the outdoors. National Parks are there for everyone. With a little thought and planning they are much more accessible than many people realize.
