We would like to thank you for supporting Sandra Genua in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid the National Park Foundation in their mission to protect, preserve, and connect people everywhere to the wonder of parks.
Admittedly, the National Parks would be a new expansive experience for me. Just like Grandma Gatewood who at 67 years of age set out & conquered the Appalachian Trails I am determined to see Hocking Hills State Park ( named after this fiesty female trekker) and all the mountain ranges she embarked on while along her willful journey. Humbly, I’d settle for the opportunities come what may.
What has been your favorite adventure experience?I have been blessed to have been able to accomplish many adventures which have helped me stay fit, reverse my type 2 Diabetes and stabilize my Stage 2 Kidney Disease. As an avid hiker, my most fond journeys were to Mount Etna, Sicilia with my 7 year old daughter and more recently Garibaldi Lake, British Columbia as well as the Crack, Killarney, Ontario. I will always turn to hiking as my go to activity!
What would you do with $10,000?I would venture with my family across the US National Parks and give them a truly remarkable lifetime experience!
